ICAP and Virginia Bio are excited to announce their next presentation – Understanding Intellectual Property: A Deep Dive into Pathways for Your IP. During this session, the USPTO will cover everything a startup should know in order to protect their intellectual property. This will include several examples from the life sciences and healthcare, but the information will be relevant to all early-stage companies. Following the initial presentation, there will be breakout sessions to cover specific topic areas in more detail. These will be led by an ICAP Mentor and USPTO expert. 

There will be several ways to attend the event, including in-person at the USPTO in Alexandria, virtually, and at several in-person watch party locations around the Commonwealth. This link can be used for anyone who would like to attend this session, in person or virtually. This survey will allow ICAP and the USPTO to tailor the presentation to who will be attending.

For those who attend the live session in Alexandria, there will also be an opportunity to tour the USPTO facility.
